The importance of proofreading / copy-editing

Proofreading and copy-editing of texts is infrequent and in my opinion, indispensible.
A well written text reflects the appreciation of a job well done, as well as a respect for the quality, seriousness, professionalism, and an improved external image.
The language specialist shapes the order and clarity of ideas; takes into account the style and tone; avoids spelling and grammar errors as well as misprints; corrects punctuation; rectifies false meanings and contradictions; dominates the terminology, etc.
